galerie gugging Klosterneuburg, Austria, presents the third episode of its "curated by..." exhibition series in collaboration with the well-known British fashion designer Christopher Kane. This follows on from the previous episodes curated by the Austrian artist Johann Garber and Swiss artist and writer Daniel Spoerri in 2017 and 2021 respectively.

Christopher Kane first collaborated with galerie gugging in 2016, when he showed a selection of the gallery's works in dialogue with his fashion collection in his London flagship store. A photoshoot at galerie gugging ensued that highlighted how his Pre-Fall 2017 Collection was inspired by its Art Brut artists such as Johann Korec and Heinrich Reisenbauer.

In 2022, Christopher Kane returns to galerie gugging with a selection of his own art and creations, ranging from small-scale drawn heads in acrylic to six-foot huge neon canvases as well as “personalities” dressed in glitter, acrylic, or haute couture. With his sister Tammy Kane, he also presents a selection of their favorite works from galerie gugging and related Art Brut artists.
