For its 20th edition, and last curated by its founding father the gallery owner Ewald Karl Schrade, art KARLSRUHE gathers a total of 207 German and international galleries.

Leading German galleries such as Friese (Berlin), Ludorff (Düsseldorf), Osper (Cologne), Thole Rotermund (Hamburg), Schwarzer (Düsseldorf), Galerie Française (Munich), Samuelis Baumgarte (Bielefeld) and van der Koelen (Mainz) will be joined by Gallery Tableau (Seoul) and 47 European galleries including Cortina (Barcelona), Gilden’s Art (London), gimpel & müller (Paris), Kovacek (Vienna), Laudel (Istanbul), Brita Prinz (Madrid), Rubrecht Severens (Maastricht), Várfok (Budapest) and Galleri MDA (Helsingborg).

As a tribute to E.K Schrade, and following the presentation of renowned private collections - Frieder Burda Collection (2018), Peter C. Ruppert (2019), Hans-Peter Haas Foundation (2020) and Maria Lucia and Ingo Klöcker (2022) - art KARLSRUHE invites him to present his collection across the 400 square meters of Hall 1. A presentation that reflects 50 years supporting leading artists from Shmuel Shapiro and Per Kirkeby to Marion Eichmann and Xianwei Zhu.
