| This ambitious double exhibition celebrates 20 years of partnership between the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao as well as the constant enrichment of the collections of the Guggenheim constellation of museums. |
| It gathers a stunning selection of masterpieces by Modern Art masters - Kandinsky, Moholy-Nagy, Gleizes, Miro, Dubuffet, Bourgeois, Long, Kounellis, Pollock, Morris, Rauschenberg, Rosenquist, Lichenstein, Naumann, Twombly - as well as challenging works by prominent contemporary artists - Baselitz, Boltanski, Kiefer, Katz, Serra, Kjatansson, Lee Bul, Koons, Danh Vo, Mehretu, Ik-Joong Kang, Sopheap Pich, among others. |
| The first part of the exhibition opened on September 23 and retraces the origins of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum collection at the dawn of the 20th century. The second will open on October 23 and will feature selected pieces, groups of works, and series drawn primarily from the Bilbao holdings. |
